Main Ideas 1. There will be times when we fall into sin and we will need people to help us out. V1 2. There will be times when our friends fall and they will need help out. V1 "That pain we feel in the body should be a mutual pain that presses us to a mutual mercy that helps us to extend a mutual reciprocation of grace!" "Don’t let the opportunity go by without extending the remedy of love, forgiveness, and grace." 3. There will be times in life when problems and tough times come and we will need people to come alongside us. V2 4. There will be times when we think we have it all figured out. That is pride and we will need help to see this. V3 "We’re already nothing and stay at nothing in and of ourselves when we plus ourselves to what Jesus is doing in our lives." 5. There will be times when we need discernment to make the difference between a burden and allowing people to carry the load of the mess they have made. Loving yet truthful is it a true burden or is it a load? V5 What a Spirit-led Community Looks Like: “Intentionally Intrusive, Christ-centered, Grace Driven, Redemptive community of faith” Paul Tripp Questions: 1. Do you have someone in your life who can ask you the tough questions? 2. When someone falls or takes a side step, what is the reaction of your heart towards that individual? Do you have a sense of hurt for them or a sense of disdain? 3. Are you actively looking for ways to shoulder the burden of others? ) 4. Are you willing to allow other people to help you shoulder the burden to carry or are you acting in a way that makes you think you have it all figured out?
