We Apologize For The Inconvenience

The faceless, soulless capitalist cabal offers its sincerest condolences and apologies for monetizing life itself, but the apology is hollow and meaningless, falling upon decidedly unsympathetic ears. How might it sound if our global corporate overlords offered their most lizard-heart-felt apologies for any "inconvenience" their greed and avarice have brought upon our lives? We think it might sound pretty insincere. You know, like a gaslighting apology: "We're sorry you feel that way." There may be an official apology "issued" but culpability is nowhere in sight. This song started as an innocent and good natured attempt on our part to collaborate with Holy Shitshow @user-649412648 who provided the original piece months ago which inspired this whole crazy chain of events. Next thing we knew, it was this whole song and the raft had drifted pretty far away from collaboration island in the process. We still used the piece in the song, and we are grateful for HS to be a part of it in the end. We think it made for a great foundation and love the ambiance it provides to the whole song.
