We Are Going to See the King!

Preached: May 7, 2023 John 3:1-21 Theme: The new birth is your passport to see the King. Why do I need this passport? The need seen in Jesus' encounter with Nicodemus. (1-7) But, why? (Psalm 14:1; 15:1-2; see also Romans 3:23; 6:23) What is this passport? It is something totally new. (3, 5-7; see also 2 Corinthians 5:17) It opens the door to eternal life. (16) It is God's work and gift. (5-6, 8, 13-16; see also Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10) It is confirmed in everyday life. (19-21) How do I receive this passport? Our action: faith.
