The new man motif describes the radical mode of being that one must have as a result of the new relationship with Jesus. Neo-humanistic psychological models are at best poor reflections of what it means to be in Christ. The post-modern church has insisted that its uninformed members fashion themselves to the adjustive therapies of this age.
