Will accountability finally make a cameo appearance? Don’t hold your breath.But it’s not all doom and gloom! The Supreme Court upheld federal regulations on ghost guns, and while we won’t spoil the surprise, let’s just say the dissenting justices were about as predictable as a Hallmark movie plot. And in a rare moment of political optimism, Democrats flipped a Pennsylvania seat in a special election—yes, in a district Trump won by 15 points. Could this be a sign that Democrats are eyeing wins in previously untouchable territories? Fingers crossed.And finally, a federal judge blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to detain and deport a 21-year-old Columbia student and green card holder during a protest. Oh, and just to round things out, we learn that Edward Coristine, a 19-year-old member of Elon Musk’s DOGE team (who goes by “Big Balls,” because of course he does), once provided network support to a cybercrime group known for harassment and data theft.
