We Are Venom

We'll trace his journey beginning with the symbiote's arrival on Earth and its initial rejection by Spider-Man. We'll discuss how the symbiote found a new host in Eddie Brock, a disgraced journalist seeking revenge against Spider-Man. Next, we'll examine how Eddie Brock's Venom transformed from a purely villainous figure into an anti-hero. We'll look at storylines like Venom: Lethal Protector, where Venom starts protecting innocents while struggling with his darker impulses. We'll also explore how other hosts, such as Mac Gargan (formerly the Scorpion) and Flash Thompson (Peter Parker's former bully), influenced Venom's behavior and actions. Mac Gargan's Venom became known for his brutality, while Flash Thompson, as Agent Venom, used the symbiote's power for good while keeping its aggression under control. Join us as we unpack the complexities of this iconic character and his enduring legacy in the Spider-Man universe and beyond!
