We blame ourselves: Powell

from Rugby Hosted by SABC Sport

Blitzbokke coach Neil Powell says that his team have nobody but themselves to blame for losing against Australia in the Cup semi-final of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens series Las Vegas leg this morning, the 7th of March 2016. The Blitzbokke finished third after beating hosts USA in the third and fourth place play-offs and remain in second place on the overall log behind Fiji who were crowned champions. Powell says that he will have sterner words with his team about their lack of discipline which cost them a win, and there would be consequences for ill-discipline players. Despite that says he is happy with the manner in which the Springbok veteran wing Bryan Habana and Southern Kings eighthman Tim Agaba performed in this tournament.
