Ayilari-Naa Awupeyagi Juati, Director in Charge of Synoptic Meteorology and Forecasting of the Ghana Met Agency talks about how extreme weather is affecting the lives of people in Ghana. Mr Juati thinks that by looking to the Western responses to climate change new applications for the scientific data can be found, and that appropriate solutions can be devised. He's an optimist.
