Jules and I tried real hard to find some wicked spooky short films. We watched a lot. It didn't go well. Here's the five we get into it about. 1. Lights Out 2. Beau 3. The Strange Thing About the Johnsons 4. This House Has People In It 5. Teaching Jake About The Camcorder, Jan. '97 My takeaway from all this? Ari Aster is amazing. Billy Mayo was an amazing actor working off of Aster scripts. It's really very awful and sad that him and Aster never got to make a feature together. Beau and the Johnsons are amazeballs.
