We have a real crisis in school counselor and therapist retention, we need them more than ever

Brandon Jones is the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health Executive Director. He joins Sheletta to talk about talking to children about the tragedy we experienced as a community last week with the Annunciation Catholic School mass shooting. Brandon runs through nuanced approaches for children of different ages to meet them where they’re at in a way that they can understand. Sheletta mentions that she’s noticed a mass exodus of people working as counselors.
