Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's festivities, but it's time to get back in the swing of things and give you the first episode of the Young Lion's Perspective of 2019! Episode 39 begins with a tribute to the passing of an icon in the professional wrestling industry, "Mean" Gene Okerlund. He passed away early Wednesday morning at the age of 76. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Okerlund family. I then wrap up the episode with my Wrestle Kingdom 13 Preview and Predictions and talk extensively about Okada vs White and the highly anticipated main event between Kenny Omega defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi.
