The State of Video Games and the Demand for Playable Demos

Steve and Mike explore the concept of Obsessive Compulsive Geek Disorder (OCGD)—the traits and habits that define dedicated geeks. They discuss their own geeky obsessions: Steve's deep dives into Transformers, Star Trek, and Power Rangers collectibles and collecting practices; Mike's neurotic organization of his Funko Pop collection by historical year and his compulsive need to start franchises from the beginning. The conversation touches on how geeks tend to go all-in on franchises once they're invested, collecting multiple items across different product lines, and the challenge of managing ever-growing collections.
