We have to address this

In this minisode we wanted to quickly address our feelings about the recent unnecessary murder of George Floyd. Simply put: we stand with Black Lives Matter. We understand that as two white girls, ours are not the voices that need to be heard right now; but we also know that one of the worst things we could do is to stay silent. We encourage you to take this time to listen to your friends, colleagues, and neighbors who know what it's like to live in Black America. Ask what you can do to help, and reflect on how you as an individual can change some deeply rooted ideals of white privilege within yourself that are all too common in our society. Learn how to be a better ally. Below are a list of websites we have found that support this human rights movement in some way. Also feel free to share your stories on our social media, particularly our twitter which will also be linked on the bottom. We want this space to be an inclusive community where we can all learn from others who have experiences we never will. https://blacklivesmatter.com/ https://www.timeout.com/things-to-do/how-to-support-black-lives-matter https://creative-capital.org/2020/06/03/resources-ways-to-support-black-lives-matter/ https://minnesotafreedomfund.org/ https://www.blackvisionsmn.org/ https://www.reclaimtheblock.org/ https://www.joincampaignzero.org/ https://unicornriot.ninja/ https://www.gofundme.com/f/georgefloyd?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet https://www.justiceforbigfloyd.com/ https://act.colorofchange.org/sign/justiceforfloyd_george_floyd_minneapolis/?source=dm_sms_optin_5-26-20 https://www.change.org/p/mayor-jacob-frey-justice-for-george-floyd?recruiter=1094320750&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_abi&utm_term=psf_combo_share_abi&recruited_by_id=385cf2d0-a043-11ea-b9e8-019249c3684d https://secure.actblue.com/donate/bail_funds_george_floyd Twitter: @PointAtoB_Pod Facebook:@PointAtoBpod Instagram: @frompointatob_podcast
