We Have to Stop White Supremacy Hate Groups from Going to Colleges to Indoctrinate our Kids

from Walter Rhein Podcast · host Walter Rhein

Everybody needs to start talking about how dangerous it is that white supremacy hate groups are allowed to reserve a booth on college campuses to sit around all day harassing kids.I remember that happening when I was in school. There was this old guy who used to come and set himself up right in the middle of campus and scream profanities at us all day long. Every now and then one of my fellow students would stop and try to engage the self-righteous jerk in debate. But the old man was so certain in his hatred that it was impossible to make him ashamed. The only thing we could do was bow our heads, hurry past and pretend he wasn’t there.Friends, that’s b******t.My girls are getting close to college age and I frankly don’t want to have them endure this kind of harassment. They shouldn’t have to rush past some creepy old man who is shaking a Bible at them. He’s probably unvaccinated. He has dubious credentials. Why isn’t it “disturbing the peace” for him to stand on public land and scream at young people?I bet if I were to go and stand on the public sidewalk next to the church and scream about the dangers of white supremacy, the police would come and have me removed pretty damn quick. Why the double standard? The fact is, we all know that there is a huge mechanism of tolerance for white supremacy in the USA. There are plenty of right wing hate groups that disguise themselves by saying they’re Christian. We know this.If you are a legitimate member of a Christian organization, then you should be out there denouncing the frauds. You should be out there denouncing those that are perverting your beliefs in order to spread a cancer of hatred throughout our society. You know it’s happening. Why aren’t you doing anything? We also know that the police, our justice system, and our political system all bend the knee to white supremacy. We know that the KKK is a domestic terrorist organization that still operates today. They’re still responsible for terrorist acts, rapes, murders, kidnappings, and child trafficking. Yet, when the media and politicians start to complain about the problems we face, they always blame non-existent “left-wing” groups. It’s a disgrace. The radical right despises the idea of education. They hate it because they know an educated population is impossible to control. So, they attack public schools, they attack experts, they attack student loan relief, they attack colleges. They use multiple tactics including voucher plans that steal funding and divert it to Christian brainwashing organizations, infiltrating local school boards, cutting funding, death threats, and insisting on sending hate groups to college campuses under the guise of “free speech.”Perhaps it’s time that we began responding in kind. Perhaps we need to start sending humanitarian groups to college campuses to combat the hate indoctrination that’s being directed at our children. We have this absurd belief that because a child reaches the age of 18, he or she is now “an adult.” But the fact is, 18 year old kids are extremely impressionable. Many of them have a lot of challenges they’re dealing with because about half of them come from hate indoctrinated right wing households. Conservative parents are known for kicking their LGBTQ+ kids out onto the street. This right wing hate is so reprehensible that it turns parents against their own babies.Yet, we hardly ever talk about any of these things. Also, these conservative hate groups are extremely well funded, so they can afford to send hate spewers to every college campus in the nation. This means that these jerks can take a megaphone and set up a booth and scream at every young girl who walks by.They’re trying to intimidate our kids right off of campus and into some minimum wage job where they become more vulnerable to various right-wing mechanisms of exploitation. We shouldn’t allow this. There is a time and a place for free speech. If people want to spew their hate ideology they can, but I should have a right as a parent to be able to prevent them from screaming it at my kids. There are no booths on college campuses calling for debt relief, free education, and universal healthcare. Did you ever wonder why that is? It’s because when our corrupt politicians, justice system, and law enforcement start talking about “free speech,” what they mean is free speech for them. We’re NEVER allowed to talk about the things we want. But perhaps the scariest part is that these right wing hate groups do manage to get through to a few kids from time to time. They convince promising, brilliant young minds to give up on their careers, join a church, and become a tradwife.“It’ll be so much easier than studying mathematics,” they say.And it is easier on the first day. Then these poor women are consigned to a life of disrespect and rape from which there is no escape. That’s the end game of white supremacy hate indoctrination that disguises itself as Christian conservatism. We need to speak out against this problem. Look at it! It’s right in the open. These jerks can call up your local college and ask for a booth and there’s nothing you can do about it. Soon they’ll be straight up sitting there with swastikas demanding that kids join their resurrection of the confederacy or the third reich. That is unacceptable.Today, they can’t draw a swastika so they draw a cross instead, and they dare anyone to challenge them on the lies and the hate they spew. They’re injecting poison. We shouldn’t just accept that our kids have to walk by these vipers every day and bow their heads, and wipe the venom away.We can’t even teach Black history at public schools because of them. It’s time to wake up and join this fight on the front lines. Run for school board and demand that the white supremacy hate groups are denied. Call up your school and insist that our kids are not indoctrinated with the normalization of hate ideologies like this.Rent booths on local campuses and if the white supremacists show up, oppose them.Don’t be fooled. Don’t shrink away just because these fools disguise their true intentions behind the trappings of sacred texts. They do not practice what they preach. They are hypocrites defiling the sacrament.White supremacy hate indoctrination is the tactic of the enemy. They are literally the devil and they’re coming to take your kids away.School should be a safe place. The people there should be vetted. Let’s take the liars who spew the hate of the devil away. You all make this newsletter happen! Thanks for your sponsorship!
