We Knew the GOP Would Try to Blame Clinton, But How Should We Respond?

from Walter Rhein Podcast · host Walter Rhein

Hello Friends,The first thing I want to say is that we’re in the middle of some extremely difficult times. The Epstein files represent a culmination of an entire system of corruption and abuse. I’m a survivor of various forms of abuse as are many of my readers. Above all else, we have to remember that we are allies and that if we start to fight among ourselves then we’re allowing the abusers to win.We can’t be too quick to think we can see through the tactics evil people are using against us. Sometimes those tactics have layers. Many evil people are incompetent, but there are also those that have spent decades implementing complex schemes. Many of them are also very well funded, and they’ve learned how to find protection in our existing power structures. For the last month, nobody really thought the GOP was going to conform to the requirements of the Epstein files transparency act. The president never agrees to anything with the intention of following through. He’s a liar, a con artist, and a criminal. We all knew that. Also, we expected that his minions would try to distract from the president by shifting the focus to Clinton, which they appear to have done. So, how do we respond:* Do we expose that as the shameless distraction that it is?* Do we insist that Clinton answers some questions?I know a lot of people want to put the pressure back on the president, but I don’t fall into that camp. As for me, I think he’s nothing more than a puppet. He completely lacks any sort of talent whatsoever. He’s obnoxious. He’s incompetent. He’s old, and he’s probably very, very, unwell. As for me, I think the other names in the files are arguably more important. Our focus shouldn’t be on “taking down” one man. Instead, it should be about taking down an entire mechanism of oppression. So, when the regime points us in the direction of one particular person in the files, they’re expecting us to say, “Wait a minute, not him, what about the other guy?”But I think that’s exactly what they want. They want us to fight each other. They want us to pick battles with our allies. Our focus needs to be on the files. If the regime says, “Well, this guy is in the files, what about him?” We should say, “Why hasn’t he been arrested?”1850s era democrats like James Carville always say that we should “find unity” with the Republicans. But then when it comes to launching legal inquiries into Bill Clinton, all of a sudden they say, “No, not that.”Well, which is it Democrats, do you want to reach across the aisle or not? This seems like a perfectly acceptable way to do it. Frankly, I think that it’s disgusting for a 49 year old man to start an affair with a 22 year old intern. I think that’s an example of sexual misconduct, and if one thing is clear it’s that the DNC should not support prominent members who are guilty of sexual misconduct. But if Democrats are suddenly not interested in the files because it contains high profile Democrats, then we lose all credibility. If they’re in there and they’re innocent, they should be demanding inquires. They should be demanding to have the opportunity to clear their names. So, yeah, let’s get the Clintons involved in this. Let’s have hearings. Hearings are the type of things that enable other crimes to be discovered. What we need is some massive infighting among POWERFUL people for a change. All these jerks have dirt on each other. Remember when Narcan Leon posted that the president was in the files? That’s the kind of situation we need to create, but on a larger level. We need bankers and lawyers and prominent actors and businessmen and politicians exposing dirt on each other on a massive scale. The pressure always has to be on the rich and powerful abusers and the enablers. If the enablers feel pressure, they’re going to turn over the evidence they have on the abusers. This isn’t a case of “innocent until proven guilty.” That phrase is for when a crime has just been committed and you have absolutely no idea who is responsible. We’re talking about names that are in the files of a criminal investigation. Those people have to explain themselves. Not only should they want to clear their own names, but they should be working to ensure the guilty are held accountable. Most important of all, the whole mechanism has to be obliterated. That’s not going to happen if people are sitting around on social media demanding that the DOJ leave the Clintons out of it. I can feel that taking the wind from the sails.Yeah, I’m sure there are a lot of people in the files who don’t want anything to do with this. Well, tough s**t. The girls who were brutally raped didn’t want anything to do with that either. The ONLY people who you should be considering right now are the survivors and those that didn’t survive. We need justice for the children. If that requires rich and powerful people to squirm, so be it. If that requires legacies to be destroyed, so be it. If that requires fortunes to be lost, so be it.Keep this in mind as you respond to comments on social media. Almost everyone I know is a survivor of some sort of abuse. This has been a horrific year of relived trauma. Remember who your allies are, remember who the enemies are.The system is designed to make us fight while the abusers go free. That’s what we have to tear down. It starts by rejecting the impulse to make excuses and instead double down on our demands for accountability.Best to you all.You all make this newsletter happen! Thanks for your sponsorship!
