We Launched a Podcast 6 Months Ago… Here’s How It’s Going

from Profits Through Podcasting: Podcast Marketing for Health & Wellness Lead Generation · host East Coast Studio | Podcast Marketing & Production

We launched this podcast about 6 months ago now, and I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. Today, I’ll share our initial motivations and the hurdles we’ve faced, such as balancing solo episodes and guest interviews. I’ll emphasize the importance of commitment and consistency, which is a lesson I preach relentlessly but am now experiencing myself, especially when I reflect on a coaching project that I launched during the pandemic. We explore logistical adjustments for better networking and highlight the critical role of providing valuable content, even when your follower/listener count is low. Even though building a successful podcast is a long journey, I’ll reveal the business wins that we’ve had so far. Today’s episode includes: The podcasting goal of boosting business growth and engagement. Why stepping out from behind the scenes was initially uncomfortable but ultimately rewarding. How past “failures” have provided valuable lessons for the podcasting venture. How having a dedicated team allowed for focus on the essential aspects of podcasting. Why we considered increasing episode frequency to enhance networking opportunities. How podcasting became a great way to connect with current clients. How the initial fear of running out of content was mitigated by effective planning and scheduling. How social media presence complements podcasting efforts and builds trust with potential clients. Repurposing podcast content to maximize reach and engagement. The ongoing process of adjusting our branding to build out our health-focused niche. Why focusing on high-value content is essential in a competitive landscape. How considering guest types and solo content can enhance podcast appeal to the ideal client.   Ready for a professional team help you produce quality podcast episodes so you can grow your business?
