We Love Hakka (Song: 金金 gimgim)

“gimgim” by ChunNoodle is the title track for Taiwan’s first Hakka-language period drama , “Gold Leaf”. The song tells the story of ‘Ji-san’, who built his empire as the “Tea Tiger” but eventually has his dream destroyed by bankruptcy. The song features vocals from lead singer Lai Yuqiao, combined with clarinet melodies, to depict the joys and sorrows of life.
