We Love Outdoors April 22, 2021 - Emergency Podcast - Sturgeon Point Marina

On April 21, 2021 the Town of Evans held a public hearing to discuss the issues and status of Sturgeon Point Marina, the only safe harbor on Lake Erie between Buffalo, NY and Dunkirk, NY.  The town, based on the 1984 contract agreement post construction makes it unambiguous that Town of Evans must maintain and assure access to anglers and fishing each season, from reasonable ice out to first ice, 24/7 for anglers launching vessels and fishing the breakwater (break walls).  Here about what was discussed and what may be needed to get this marina operational for 2021, and fixed for future lessening of the problems caused by the structural failure of the break wall.
