In this week's episode of We Love Outdoors, your host Rich Davenport reviews the newly released NYS 2020/ 2021 Deer Harvest estimates recently released by the NYS DEC, explores the recent developments at the latest Erie County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs meeting, bringing back the family fishing clinics with a caveat, progress on the youth deer hunting pilot and efforts to assure Erie County is on board, the Day Old Chick program is alive and well despite covid, and Lake Erie Charter Captains may see some economic relief after all.  NY has officially embraced a Bizarro World energy policy in total, with a proposed $0.55/ gallon gasoline tax in addition to the already high taxes imposed on this energy source, while NYSERDA abandons all science and even their mission in pursuit of wind turbines in every back yard, but some citizens groups are fighting back, and in Canada, Earth Day brings great news for the Great Lakes, but bad news for wind scammers!  Finally, your host reminds the listeners of what a power plant actually is, why it is there, and if it cannot do what it is intended to do, then it isn't a power plant and cannot be used in the grid!  All this, and more!
