Perseverance is an understatement for this woman. Destinee's interview was one of the most fulfilling moments for me as a creative. I am so honored to be able to share Destinee's story. She talked to me about how writing has helped her through the tough times, the tragic death of her brother and how her adopted mother introduced her to love.
