In the old days, we heard about Wilt Chamberlain, Dr. J, Kareem, Magic Johnson, & Isiah Thomas just to name a few. Then when Michael Jordan came along, you heard about him more than any player. Now we hear about LeBron James a lot. But it doesn’t hurt to have a variety of great players like in the old days. It makes competition more exciting. We don’t need every player to be the same because everybody can’t be a Michael Jordan. There might be somebody out there that can play better than him. I think the players should be allowed to be different. In the old days, the players were different, and they were all great champions. There were different styles in different players. It doesn’t hurt to have different styles. It makes the game of basketball more interesting. Dr. J had his own style, and Magic Johnson had his own style. Isiah Thomas had his own style, and so did Michael Jordan. They all made the NBA fun to watch and exciting. You’re listening to EPS. Tune in next time for more.
