We need to treat catfishing with the seriousness it deserves according to a Fianna Fail Senator.Fiona O’Loughlin has renewed her call for the swift passage of her Bill that would make catfishing a standalone criminal offence.It would also provide legal recourse for victims whose identities have been stolen by giving them the right to access data from dating apps or social media platforms.Senator O'Loughlin says it's time to put those victims first, and Senator O'Loughlin joined us on The Agenda this morning to talk to us some more about this.
