We Plan, God Guides

People may gladly ask God to change their circumstances, yet resist the thought that He can change their hearts. Jonah plans an escape from God's command, but God sends the storm, exposes his rebellion, and brings the sailors to reverent faith. Human choice is real, but sin rules the heart until Christ breaks its hold and creates obedience from within.
