We Salute Night and Weekend Top 40 Radio Hosts

from The Baby Boomer Radio, TV, Movies, Magazines, Music, Comics, Fads, Toys, Fun, and More Show! · host Smitty, Mike, and Ian

Radio has always been a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operation. In earlier times, when more stations were helmed by a living person, that meant someone had to be on the air weekends, and holidays. In this episode of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site, Smitty, Mike, and Ian welcome former San Diego radio personality Tommy Sarmiento. Tom tells us about his experiences working those shifts by himself, while everyone else was away. He shares the story of how he got into radio and tells about the changes in radio and technology he witnessed while involved in broadcasting. Our Retro-Commercial is a great Ballantine Beer commercial. Join us on Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site!
