We Saw a Boulder and Made a Decision

This week's Sips of the Week are Witches Brew Alani + WATER because your girls went on a HIKE! We’re coming at you from Clifty Falls State Park, AKA Indiana's stair master, in Madison, Indiana, on the most perfect early-fall morning. We tackled Trail 5 through Tunnel Falls (because -shocker- we both have to work tonight) and somehow managed to squeeze in a little adventure before clocking in. M gives us a little history on Clifty Falls, we talk all things hiking necessities, ramble down approximately 47 different conversational rabbit holes, and somehow end up standing on top of a boulder that is literally taller than M. Sooo… are we professional rock climbers now? 🧗♀️😂 We go up, down, and quite literally ALL around before slowing things down and getting a little sentimental. We talk about choosing happiness every single day, taking the leap, making the change when you know something isn’t making you happy, and remembering that life is WAY too short to keep living a life that doesn’t feel like yours. Sometimes you just have to take the first step—literally and figuratively. There’s no better time than now. 🫶🏼🍂 Thanks for healing out loud with us. 🤎
