We still have no idea what is going on in the Straight of Hormuz

It's supposed to be, the big, uh, you know, that day, right? The day that maybe somebody in there, uh, in my studio was in by being in a little 420, uh, but we don't know. I have, we've got a lot to talk about today. We will get that. Um, hopefully engineering can get in there. John, if you could go talk to the people in engineering, see if we can get my. 00:29 studio back up and running. But so we had a big weekend going on. We still have no idea what is going on in Strait of Hormuz. As far as that is concerned, right now we've got gas is right gas oil is about $89 a barrel is still below. 00:50 $90 a barrel, which is barely below it, but still this is going to be a big thing. And what we're going to have to see is exactly what the Pakistanis are going to do. Well, sorry about that. What the Iranians are going to do in Pakistan because there's supposed to be a meeting. And I don't know about you guys, but this just, it scares me. It really worries me when you get people like uh JD Vance and you get Jared Kushner. 01:20 and all these people actually going over to Islamabad to have some sort of a, you know, a confab with these, with these Iranians. mean, does that seem like one of those things that you really want to do? I mean, all right, I understand a neutral ground, but is Pakistan really a neutral ground? I really worry about their safety uh when they go over to uh places like, like Islamabad. 01:50 is Lama bad, which is, you know, 01:56 unbelievably Islamic, radically Islamic. um So, but we'll see what happens with that. There was an incident and I found this to be quite interesting. There was an incident um over the weekend where we actually boarded an Iranian ship and now they're accusing us of piracy. Okay, we'll get to that coming up in just a little bit because that's just, it's just one of the most ridiculous things that you've ever seen. They're over there acting like, and this is weird to me, they're acting like they're the good guys. 02:27 Not only are they acting like they're the good guys, they're acting like they have any sort of standing, any sort of chips to actually bargain with in any of this. And they actually don't. 02:40 What President Trump can do over there in Iran is just, I mean, he could just wipe out the whole power grid. He could wipe out all of the communications. And of course, all the people on the left are like, oh, this is a war crime and it's not. I mean, after all, Iran themselves took out their own internet. They limit the internet to their citizens so they can't get information in and out. So it's just, it's one of those weird, strange, frustrating situations. 03:10 We thought we had a deal and this is something we've also said as well. We thought we had a deal with these people. 03:20 But they reneged on the deal. 03:24 That is the issue with trying to deal with people who lie basically all the time. They will never be honest with the Western world because their very own religion says it's okay. you want to lie to a non-Muslim, hey, that's all right. There's nothing wrong with that. You can do that. You can deceive them. 03:52 So when we first heard about this whole thing about, you know, President Trump giving him two more weeks or 10 days or whatever it was, we knew that was just a stall tactic from the Iranians. And apparently that's exactly what it is. So now they're in there, they're doing all the blockade stuff. And so we'll have to see what happens with that. But it was a very interesting weekend. We need to get this over with as soon as possible. 04:21 whether it is militarily or whether it is diplomatically, we need to get it over with as soon as we possibly can because we've still got the midterms coming up.
