We the Church episode 10: His workmanship

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Before we received Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we were dead in our sins. We had no covenant with God, we lived in death and produced works of death. Everything we tried to be was worthless in our own strength. We looked for life in our works, defining our value through self-effort. At some point in our lives, we came to the realisation that our purpose can only be found in Jesus. It was His life that He gave for us that gave our life purpose, His death and purchase for us, determined our value and worth.
