We Visit a Paper and Postcard Collectibles Show, plus George S. Patton

Smitty and Mike take a field trip on this edition of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site. The guys are at the Greater San Diego Post Card and Paper Collectibles Show. Learn all about the different types of paper collectibles from Jeremy Leroque, the promoter of this and other paper shows in California and the West Coast. Jeremy tells us what you might find at these shows, what to look for, and what to do if you discover some interesting old paper in your attic or closet. Is it collectible? How do you get it appraised? What should you do to not damage that valuable post card, paper, or magazine? Find out on this show! In addition we talk to other vendors and collectors at this fun show. Ian Rose tells us all about General George S. Patton, the famous World War II Hero. And Ian recalls George C. Scott who played Patton in the classic movie of the same name. We can't imagine anyone else in the role of Patton other than Scott, and Ian shares a lot of interesting information about the General and the movie. Our Retro-Commercial is a swingin Disneyland commercial from the late 50s. Hop on board Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site!
