We Were a Quarter Mile From a Mass Shooting

I remember it like it was yesterday, though it was actually a few years back.There was a mass shooting at our largest shopping mall. One that we lived about a quarter mile from. The mall where my Bride’s counseling practice was the same distance from. In fact, she’d been shopping there earlier than morning. The shooting happened later in the afternoon.That was some scary shit. The events of this past weekend hit close to home. One of the four was at a lakeside location. Similar to the one where we had breakfast yesterday morning here in Idaho.It’s a scary world out there. Trump’s divisive, fiery rhetoric doesn’t make things any easier. Especially when he gives out false information that the “Radical Left” is responsible for them. And then it turns out that most are committed by his MAGA fuckwits.
