We Wish To See Jesus - Audio

from The University Church · host Julian A. Davies

When two Gentiles approach the disciples with the words, "We wish to see Jesus" and that message is transmitted to Jesus, we see a response that looks to the glorification of Jesus as a means to take away the barriers between Jews and gentiles. Later, Paul explicates this new reality with his words about men and women, slaves and free people, in addition to Jews and Gentiles. This new reality gives us our primary identification as Christians and signals the task of tearing down barriers so that all people can encounter God through Christ.
