I became a fan of Weakened Friends straight off of the first listen of their iconic hit "Blue Again" back in 2019 in preparation of Musikfest that summer.  This many years later, and now hosting a podcast, the opportunity came up to be able to interview Sonia Sturino and Annie Hoffman and I jumped at the opportunity.They've just released brand new music, and it is there best stuff yet.  The album is called Feels Like Hell, and comes out of a long wait - not quite "writer's block", more like waiting for the right time to harness the songwriting creativity.We get in to all the things - their early journeys to music, how the found each other, finding balance between their approaches that can be at odds, and navigating where people are allowed to go on stage.Band BioThe story of Weakened Friends unfolds a bit like Fleetwood Mac’s—minus the cocaine, plus a dose of multivitamins.
