On this episode Paul is joined by returning guest and World Game-Changers director, Andrew Batt, for the second in a two-part episode about wealth in today’s world. When someone talks to me about wealth I don’t think of big houses, cars, holidays, I actually start to think about the wealth that people can bring to the table whether that’s knowledge, experience, expertise, contacts.  Within World Game-Changers, part of what we’re trying to do is empower young people and let them air their voices. We’re only on this planet for so long and what you and I think is good for the planet, people two or three generations younger than us might not have the same views. If we don’t do anything to help the environment, the environment’s not going to be around long enough for the future generations. I got told as a kid you  should respect your elders and I’ve always learned from people who are older than me because, as far as I’m concerned, they’ve been on the planet longer so therefore nine time out of ten by default they have more experience than me or they’ve got different experience than me, either way I’m going to learn something. I spent over ten years travelling with wealthy clients and there was always one thread: All of them that had kids said they were so hell-bent on expanding their family’s wealth in all aspects that they forgot the one thing they were doing it for – their kids. They said they’d blink and they were at the university graduation, 23 years had blinked past and they’ve got all the things they want but they missed out on their kids.
