"Weapons"

Zach Cregger returns after his breakout shocker Barbarian with Weapons, annother calculated descent into dread that trades usual horror tropes for something far more unsettling. Set in a quiet town shattered by the mysterious dissappearance of an entire classroom of kids, Cregger's sophomore effort sharpens its focus from eerie curiosity into something blistering and accusatory with an strong ensemble cast featuring - Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong and a Oscar-winning performance from Amy Madigan. What begins as a puzzle slowly mutates into an autopsy of a community hollowed by neglect, denial and buried guilt, where familar rhythms of everyday life fractures under the weight of something deeply wrong. The question is does it all come togther in the end? Tune in to check our spoiler-filled review.
