Weather

This morning Facebook told me that it was the start of summer. Outside it was pissing with rain. This seems as good a day as any to post Winky and the Stain musing on that very British preoccupation – the weather. Featuring Winky listing all the different types of weather, as a handy ready reference guide. Apologies a) this was recorded outside, so expect a bit of background noise. Apologies b) the artists who made the last track are Catherine Hershey & Gilles Poizat. Psychedelic Weather – M.E.D. & Otakhee Only Love Can Break Your Heart (Andrew Weatherhall Mix) – Saint Etienne Niigata Snow – Derek Bailey Snowstorm – Galaxie 500 Last Snowstorm of the Year – Low Arrow and Rain – Huntsville Vatnajokull – Chris Watson Hurricane – Faust Snowy in F# Minor – Tindersticks Ashen Snow – Dirty Three Broken Clouds – Lakker Warm August Wind – Catherine Hershey & Gilles Poizat
