.Active central U.S. weather pattern to continue.  Heavy rains, flashflooding and severe weather possible......Heat continues across southern Texas and much of Florida.  Hot tempsbegin to build in the interior California Valleys......Cooler than average temperatures expected across the mid section of thenation and much of the East..The very active and highly impactful late spring weather pattern willcontinue across the central U.S. over the next several days.  Initiallyactivity will concentrate across portions of the Southern Plains fromOklahoma into Texas from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday, where therewill be potential for thunderstorms to produce heavy rains, localizedflash flooding and severe weather.  By late Wednesday into Thursday, astrong frontal boundary will be pushing eastward into the Northern toCentral High Plains.  This will help focus the next round of activeweather farther to the north as thunderstorms blossom Wednesday afternoonacross eastern Montana, eastern Wyoming and northeast Colorado and thenpush east into the Northern to Central High Plains.  Severe weather, heavyrain and isolated flash flooding will be possible across these areas.  Thefocus for the next round of impactful thunderstorms on Thursday will thenbe shifting back to the south across portions of the Central and SouthernPlains across eastern Nebraska, much of Kansas, Oklahoma and northernTexas.  Additional heavy rains, flash flooding and severe thunderstormswill be possible across these areas as well.The active central U.S. weather pattern will keep temperatures belowaverage over the next few days due to the clouds and rainfall.  Hottemperatures, however, look like they will continue across southern Texasand across large portions of Florida. Record high afternoon temperaturesand record high morning low temperatures are possible across portions ofSouth and Southwest Florida over the next two days.  Record high morninglows also possible across portions of South and coastal Texas Wednesdayand Thursday morning.  Heat will also be increasing by mid to late week inthe interior valleys of California.  However, temperatures are expected toremain below record high values.A broad mid to upper level trough centered from eastern Canada, souththrough the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Northeast will support belowaverage temperatures mid to late week across large portions of the East. Widespread scattered afternoon showers are possible Tuesday from the LowerLake into the Ohio Valley and on Wednesday across the Central Appalachiansinto portions of the Mid-Atlantic.
