Our special WeatherBrain tonight is Dr. Russell Schneider, who has spent his entire career in the National Weather Service. He became the first Science and Operations Officer at the HPC. He was selected Director of the Storm Prediction Center in 2010. He has authored and coauthored many publications and was an Associate Editor at the AMS Journal of Weather and Forecasting for more than a decade.
