Thank you so much to Candace for commissioning this episode! This is the second Makota Shinkai film that Candace has commissioned, and apparently he's working on a third one that I'm hoping to get to cover eventually. I have to admit tho, this film didn't work for me nearly as well at Your Name because the ending felt like it didn't really know what it wanted to be. Shinkai made some statements about what he intended, but in my opinion that didn't come across and I would up kind of disliking the characters due to their choices. What do you all think??
