She locums at several prisons in the UK and was the co-chair of the UK BMA’s Forensic and Secure Environments Committee. She is the medical director of Integritas Healthcare, a small but growing international non-government organisation with a HEART for detainees – delivering Healthcare, Expertise, Advocacy, Research & Training for & about detainees. She generally spends around a quarter of her life working overseas. And she enjoys supervising BSc & MSc researchers – including keeping an eye on them whilst they gather data within Western Pacific jails.
