Dr John Day is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases & General Medicine at Southend University Hospital, UK and spent 5 years working in Zimbabwe and South Africa where he was developing HIV and TB services with a gold mining company. He has published on the impact of TB on HIV progression, TB screening algorithms in high HIV and TB prevalence settings and on HIV testing.
