This talk will present a simple strategy and associated integrative approach to Christian Counselling that works sensitively across cultures and will briefly introduce resources that have been developed to assist this process.The principles will be illustrated using the work of the Asian Christian Counselling Association and its partnership with Living Wholeness, two organisations which collaboratively are strengthening and equipping lay, pastoral, and professional Christian Counsellors across Asia and recently into Uganda.More broadly, there will be an invitation to form National Christian Counselling associations so the body of Christ may work more synergistically together in this field, and some practical tips on how this may be facilitated.Dr David Nikles is an Australian Family Physician who commenced mission work in China in 2005 in the area of mental health and counselling training. His vision is strengthening Christian Counselling across the Global South, especially Asia.
