Gcwalisa is a Wakanda containerised retail outlet with branded refill dispensers that allows customers to buy a selection of basic nutritional food items and household products through a ‘weigh and pay’ model. Miles Khubeka, CEO and founder of Gcwalisa, launched his first grocery refill dispensary outlet in Alexandra, Johannesburg with the aim of providing low income communities the chance to buy staple household food items at variable quantities, using their own refill dispenser to suit their budget.
