Wed. June 14th, 2023 Homily by fadapeterbenson: JESUS CAME NOT TO ABOLISH BUT TO FULFIL THE LAW.

TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Though the law has no power to save humanity from eternal condemnation, our desire and actual efforts to do the will of God as His true children brings about our fulfilling the law and the prophets. This explains why Jesus Christ tells us in today's Gospel that He has come not to abolish the law and the prophets but to fulfil them. As God's children, following the example of Jesus Christ, let us seek each day to do the will of God in our quest to remain daily and eternally in communion with Him and by so doing we shall be fulfilling the law and the prophets.
