Wedding Vendors Review Meet the Parents

from A Wedding Podcast with Katie and Steffen · host Katie, Wedding Planner - Steffen, Wedding Photographer

As a part of our Wedding Movie Showdown last month, Meet the Parents was the runner-up behind Father of the Bride. We decided to review Meet the Parents. The movie released 20 years ago... that's so crazy to think about, any of my other 30-somethings out there blown away that this movie released two decades ago?!! Fortunately, it's just as funny as it was the first time watching it, although some of the jokes are clearly dated compared to today's more socially conscience jokes. While this movie isn't necessarily a "wedding movie" it does involve a wedding, a relationships, and an engagement. Meet the Fockers would probably be more of a wedding movie than this one, but this one is a classic meeting the in-laws movie. What can we learn from this movie? What are some takeaways for brides, grooms, and parents? We talk about that and more in today's episode.
