This features a reinterpretation of songs from the Day-by-day study group. In this work I'm experimenting with resynthesis techniques (subtractive & resynthesised audio; ie make strange sounds stranger). References to early Oval work happened purely by accident; I was delighted with the results. Software used: SPEAR, FL Studio. Instruments: tenor saxophone, piano & bass This collection of audio exploration was inspired by a conversation with Hammer On String and a quote by Chuck Close. An ongoing series of (almost) daily sound design and experimentation. "Inspiration is for amateurs - the rest of us just show up and get to work"
