1 John - Sermon 4 Being a child of God is a relationship. Being a follower of Christ, a disciple, a Christian, isn't a statement, it's a station. 1 John 2:3-6 Keep means observe/obey. Mark 7 (NASB) If you struggle with love and loving the family of God, a serious examination of salvation is needed. Three marks of a Christian: 1. Obeys Christ's Commands 2. God's Love is Growing and obvious in them. 3. Their Life follows the Savior's.
