During an emergency meeting the WAPA board directed management to develop and present a plan to address the territory’s ongoing power crisis, including both emergency and temporary generation solutions by April 8. Meanwhile, lawmakers are calling WAPA leadership before the Legislature next week to provide answers and accountability for the ongoing power issues in the St. Thomas-St. John district.
