As believers, we sometimes forget we were outsiders before Christ ruled our hearts. We lived in the world without God and without hope. Oftentimes, we overlook people who are not "like" us. Jesus taught us it is the heart that matters, not the outward appearance. When we are working together as one body and Christ as the Cornerstone, we are able to see that we are all pushing toward one purpose.  Pride is at the root of all sin. The closer we get to Christ, the more humble we will become. The Holy Spirit will lead and show us things within us that we need to repent of and reshape our desires to be what God desires for us.  Ephesians 2:11-22 Kenny Nix, Pastor
