Wednesday Breakfast: Nikki Webster Interview

Australian pop icon Nikki Webster joins Brett and Scott on JOY Breakfast to celebrate 25 years of Strawberry Kisses. Nikki takes us back to recording the track as a 14-year-old, reveals how Aaron Carter almost got the song first, and remembers the extraordinary fan reaction that followed, including marathon in-store signings lasting up to five hours. She also looks back at the gloriously Y2K Strawberry Kisses music video, gives Devilicious the appreciation it deserves, and shares what it has been like revisiting those iconic moments with her children. Plus, could there be more Nikki Webster music in the future? Nikki says she’s “never saying never.” The limited-edition 25th anniversary 7-inch vinyl of Strawberry Kisses is released October 16 2026.
