Naarm-based alternative pop artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Umbra Moon joins Brett and Scott on JOY Breakfast for a chat about their cinematic dark-pop sound, life as a completely independent artist and the hustle behind building a music career from the ground up. Umbra shares how busking has helped grow their audience, the challenges of booking shows and releasing music without a team, and the self-discovery that inspired their EP Sleepwalking — including songs exploring coming out, family, heartbreak and change.
