Sometimes the pastorate can appear glamourous. You get to be in the spotlight, up on stage with everyone listening to you and your vote seems to count for more than the average churchgoer. There are some pastors who take advantage of this and bask in the limelight, but for many, it’s a different story. As Pastor Dan will point out in today’s message, many of those pastors you see up on stage are likely to be found clearing a clogged toilet or vacuuming up a mess in the foyer when the congregation clears out.
